Gazing the Sun: A personal Journey.
“Through meditation, one-pointedly fixed upon the sun, will come a consciousness (or knowledge) of the seven worlds.” (The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali 3:26 )
The first time I ‘intentionally’ watched the sunrise was the winter solstice 2012, and in June of 2013, I started the spiritual discipline of sungazing according to the protocols laid down by Hira Ratan Manek. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziETzC8IoFQ
It took eleven months for me to complete the forty four minutes sun gazing experience, and I have found that the claims Hira Manek made are true. Sungazing is a spiritual practice that is healing, inspiring and informational.
I started my practice by gazing the dawn sun and entrainment was almost immediate. The first thing I noticed was an incredible quiet. Gone was the endless chatter of the ego mind…the internal conflict, and the psychological time frame of past and future. It was all erased and, for the first time in my life I understood what Krishnamurti meant by the quiet mind.

I found the stillness allowed me to resonate with information from the Solar Logos. I call it Sun wifi…the indefinable Divine information field that is only accessible when the mind is still.
Information contrary to my programming
While gazing, I intuitively understood that the sun goes around the earth and not vice-versa, and also that it is not millions of miles away. In fact it is comparatively close. Much of the data that was presented during my sungazing experiences was and still is so contrary to my conditioned mind that it took me a while to get over my ‘temporary madness’ and integrate the information.
Frequency difference between the morning sun and the evening sun
In the summer months, I gazed the morning sun and during the winter when the temperature was above 20F in the afternoon, I gazed the evening sun. There is a tremendous difference in the frequency and quality of light between the rising and setting sun, and it was while gazing the setting sun that I became aware of the other player in the game of fire polarity.
Occult Tradition: the polarities of the sun
Masked by the fiery light of the third dimensional sun is a second sun. This appears as an intense pulsing indigo sphere surrounded by magenta, infra red and ultraviolet light. Many occultists refer to this ‘second sun’ as the black sun, but from my observation the centre of the ‘spiritual’ sun is indigo…not black. This makes sense in terms of polarity because indigo is the opposite of gold.
In the beginning, the indigo sun was a hard image to maintain for any length of time, and would be quickly replaced by the familiar yellow sun image. As the time of gazing increased to thirty minutes, I mastered the ability to keep my focus on the indigo sun, and switch sun polarities at will. It was then that I began to notice that while the indigo sun appeared to be round, the yellow sun that masked its brilliance had a geometric shape. Over many sessions, I counted the sides of the yellow sun, and at first I thought there were ten sides like the ten petals on the fire lotus of Eastern Tradition, but further observation showed the geometric was twelve sided and rotating clockwise.
Blue Sun versus yellow Sun
“What I have learned from space visitors is not really anything new, but only a return to the ageless wisdom possessed by the Earth’s most ancient races. These students of long ago said the true colour of the Sun was blue, and it is interesting to note that the musical note of Blue is Sol, a name for the Sun itself.” George Hunt Williamson. In the Isha Upanishad, xv we read:
“The face of truth is hidden by thy golden orb, O Sun. That do thou remove, in order that I who am devoted to truth may behold its glory.”
“Covered with the golden disc is the face of truth. Uncover it, O Pusan, so that I who love truth may be able to see it.”
Does the Isha Upanishad imply that the yellow Sun is a mask covering truth? And, by establishing a spiritual connection with the blue Sun, we can see behind the mask?
Entertaining all possibility
“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” – Aristotle
The above quotation by Aristotle is very appropriate when it comes to stretching the frontiers of our awareness, especially when we consider perspectives that are contrary to our programming. Some of us understand the fractal and dual nature of our reality, and many have realised the truth in the statements ‘as above, so below’ and ‘everything is one of a pair of opposites’.
Following a fractal and dualistic train of thought, this article poses a few questions for those who can think big thoughts!
Is the Sun hot?
I can imagine a few raised eyebrows, right now! It’s like asking if the earth is flat but we will come to that in the next article. But for now, let’s investigate what I call the ice cube effect.
The ice cube effect
Our senses determine how we interpret our physicality… and create our virtual reality. This can easily be demonstrated by ‘the ice cube effect’. An ice cube is a solid and resonates upon the earth field, when we heat it (speed up its frequency) we can observe its passage upward through our chakra system, our sensors if you like. A solid turns into water (2nd chakra), is hot (third chakra), steams (fourth chakra) and disappears into space (fifth chakra). In our VRG the speed of the field determines whether physical matter appears to us as hot/cold, a solid, liquid, gas or space.
So, with our limited awareness (10% of what we should have available) the Sun, the fire in the sky is decoded as heat by our limited body software.
Here is an interesting perspective of the Sun from Brother Philip in his book Secret of the Andes and the Golden Sun Disc of Mu.
“What is the nature of the Sun? It is not, of course, cold in the sense of degrees, but is not a flaming body. What is beneath the Solar corona which no man has seen? What do you think is its nature? It is a cool body. What is beneath it? Planets. Everything is duplicated in the Father’s realm. Study the construction of the atom. There are as many electrons as protons in each. If you have twelve planets without, the Sun is the nucleus; twelve planets are the electrons and within the nucleus are the protons.”
Is the Sun, the nucleus of an atom? Is our virtual reality an electron?
The Green Hermetic Lion devouring the yellow Sun of the Demiurge.
The woodcut of the hermetic green lion eating the yellow sun appeared in the Rosarium philosophorum (the Rosary of the Philosophers) and was first printed at Frankfurt in 1550.
In view of the quotation from the Upanishad, where we are told that the yellow sun blocks us from our true spiritual reality, what esoteric information is encoded in the woodcut of a green lion eating the yellow sun?
The Fifth House
The astrological sign of Leo is a fixed House of the Sun. The number of Leo is five…the number of man with his five fingers and toes. The peridot hue of the lion is the colour frequency of Fire rising into Air: the yellow green of 528hz; the Heart chakra of fourth dimensional awareness. In other words, the third dimension reaching into the fourth (the morning sun.) This is the opposite polarity to fire descending (afternoon sun) into the second chakra of emotion, the root of competition/separation.
Gnostic Tradition
In Gnostic tradition the lion is depicted as the Demiurge, and in line with duality there will be a good lion and a bad lion. To my way of thinking, the symbology in the woodcut reveals a fourth dimensional frequency pattern (fourth chakra of the Heart) destroying the third dimensional, ego centred, Luciferic false sun. Futuristic understanding
It is interesting to note that the eminent astronomer Sir William Herschel 1738–1822, suggested that the Sun may be inhabited and that the inhabitants may no more suffer from the intense heat than those who live in the tropical regions of Earth! He believed the Sun to be cool body, not a hot, flaming gas ball.

Sungazing really turned my head around, that’s for sure.
In the later sessions, I used tuning forks to create the intervals of a 6th and a third for sunrise and set respectively. Like everything else in this duality there are two kinds of sungazing…physical and spiritual.
I have continued to gaze for the serenity it brings and I thoroughly recommend it for anyone suffering from ‘mental overload’
Perhaps your circumstances will change and you will be able to sungaze.

If it is an electro-magnetic consciousness blinder, then surely gazing at it for long periods is only going to further entrap our consciousness? I tend to get r & r from sitting beneath an old tree and listening to a running stream.

I too, like to sit with my back to a tree or by a stream and lose myself in the sounds of life around me. But without the sun there would be no tree or stream. Sungazing is a calling. A one on one entrainment with the sun is a tremendous experience. Behind the yellow sun geometric is the indigo sun, the solar stream of information. Sungazing is a shamanistic practice for those of us who want to go a little bit further in our understanding of what ‘this reality’ really is. If you want to expand consciousness, then I suggest you try sungazing, but follow the protocols.The proof of the pudding is in the eating…

It is a metaphysical treatise on the spiritual indigo sun and discusses the hermetic green lion and its esoteric meaning. Negative entrapment by the sun can only happen if the gazer has a negative field…like attracts like. I say again, sungazing is a spiritual endeavour and not to be approached if one has a flippant mind set.

I find there is much wisdom within your writings, especially regarding the Purple Dawn of the Superior Sol. Our Helios is in many ways a young upstart, and often lives up to his epithet of ‘burner’. The crow and the lion are often at odds, though I have noticed they have been appearing together lately. This may portent more balance and a loosening of certain chains.

Seems that many ancient cultures, when venerating the sun they were actually focused on the HIDDEN(occult) sun.
Interesting that ‘Nibiru’ is one of the ‘planets’ in orbit around this ‘brown dwarf’ star, out beyond the oort cloud.
I actually ‘saw’ your version of the ‘indigo’ sun after sungazing on my own, in my 3rd eye ‘vision’.
I read your book and enjoyed it very much.
It seemed to end abruptly with ‘Jim’ and his ‘succubus’; intended?

I don’t know about Saturn being the occult sun, but I do understand from my sungazing experience that the yellow sun is a geometric filter with twelve sides that masks the indigo sun. Saturn also has anomalies…a revolving hexagram on the north pole and an eye on the south pole. The rings are interesting too. See my article Saturn/Sol.
My feeling is the rings are frequency modulators. Have a listen to the sounds recorded by the Cassini mission.
I think the planets are frequency fences in a dome above our heads that keep our multi dimensional consciousness…our 90% DNA from being activated and the rabbit hole is much deeper than we can comprehend.
I wrote the resolution for Jim and Emma in Book two but the publisher wanted me to split the third dimensional story from the fourth. So Book two takes place in the fourth dimension…it’s been wonderful to write from that perspective. You’ll just have to wonder about poor old Jim.

July 29, 2015 at 6:57 amHi Elva- I’m lucky enough to live in Kauai across the street from the beach where the sun rises over the water every day. Since I read this amazing article, I’ve been getting over there at sunrise every day and so far I’m gazing up to around 8 minutes. I’m going through what feels like a physical change in my eyes, as well as lots of dreams about being in situations where near blindness comes and goes. I’m wondering if sun gazing effects the eyes physically at first? Thanks for your postings. -Donna

Thank you for your comment. I think its quite natural to worry about our eyesight when we first start sungazing, after all, we have been conditioned not to look at the sun and told how dangerous it is.This is why it is important to follow the protocols.
But I found the fear passes the longer we gaze, and I have also noticed an improvement in my eyesight…I wore glasses all the time, now I only need them for reading. I have a couple of mantras that I will put in part two of my article Occult Sun that are healing mantras using sacred phonetics.Have you experienced the entrainment of the sun and the wonderful serenity it brings?
